I bought a Canon A-1 from him via eBay. It was advertised as "Condition is Ex++/Mint-" and I must admit that the camera I received is cosmetically excellent. Unfortunately, the metering is completely FUBAR. Within 10 days of receiving this camera I made several long distance phone calls to the number provided on his card; he was not there any of those times. I finally resorted to email on the thirteenth day after I received the camera. He eventually responded to my request to return the defective camera with, "Sorry, we cannot do this. The Canon A-1 camera was sold about 6-8 weeks ago and too long period of time to return." Pure bullshit. He failed to respond to my subsequent email. He has my money and I have a dead camera.
