I work for Broward County government in Ft. Any idea why these things are non-functional with so few miles on them?  Does this say something about EVs?

Rode hard and put away wet. :) These electric rangers were a poor EV design to start with and only had a 40 to 50 mile range. This means those cars cycled their batteries somewhere from 180 to 250 times. It may be possible these are the first battery packs and they simply decided it wasn’t worth the thousands of dollars it would take to keep these 6 year old trucks on the road. There are (or were) better designs for EVs than this. Ford seemed to make a business out of proving out badly EVs could be made. The only thing this says is that the kind of lead acid batteries they used would need to be replaced every 5K to 10K miles. Anthony
