Question:
Not that it matters but I am a PowerSeller and had a person buy a ton of items and needless to say he did not read the description well enough. To make a long story short he tonight posted 18 Negative Feedbacks on my account. I know removing Negative Feedbacks is next to impossible but I thought I read on this newsgroup that if it is abused by one individual there is a chance that it can be removed. Do I have any recourse? Is there someone at eBay that I can contact about this situation? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Response:
See if the guy posted negatives to other sellers at the same time. If so, you have a good chance to present a case. Otherwise, I suggest you forget about it, move on, and think of good concise replies to the negs. Hope it works out for you though — I know what it’s like to get feedback raped. says… – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Not that it matters but I am a PowerSeller and had a person buy a ton of items and needless to say he did not read the description well enough. That is awful! I would definitely email safeharbor and explain the situation. Hopefully they can delete 17 of them. I can’t understand why and how a buyer can be so cruel to leave that many neg’s. Obviously if you are a powerseller this is a full time job for you! This is your business. What a jerk! Good Luck!! Sherry

One of the other regulars had a similar thing done to him, he got all but one removed. The general rule is they will consider removing the extras if the offending party leaves more than three feedback as part of a campaign to harass one or more users. See: http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/fbremove.html I’d take it to safe harbor right away. I don’t know where the warm fuzzy feeling comes from, calling someone a regular in this group might be considered fighting words in some circles. <G Richard Ward – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – <with tear in eye im now considered a regular <warm fuzzy feeling One of the other regulars had a similar thing done to him, he got all but one removed. If you’re a Power Seller, then don’t you have a "personal rep" who can help you with this concern? Lika
