Question:
if item is marked new (as an example) and it obviously is not , as it happened to me , file a claim with the better business bureau in the town of seller (go online better business bureau town of seller, com) , two contact and only pay by credit card to paypal and dispute the charge and don’t pay.also get a written guarentee from seller before bidding.lastly check out store prices first…so many items after postage are same price or more with no guarantee and used,

Maybe it’s you that should stop using eBay.

Unless the seller is a member of that local BBB, the most the BBB will do is send them a form letter indicating that they’ve received a complaint. They actively intercede *only* when the seller is a member OR when the seller agrees to pay the BBB’s costs during the resolution process. How many eBay sellers do you think are members of the BBB, or would pay for those services? by credit card to paypal and dispute the charge and don’t pay.also get a written guarentee from seller before bidding.
How do you get a written (and signed) guarantee from a seller before bidding ends? Would an email actually stand up in a legal situation? lastly check out store prices first…so many items after postage are same price or more with no guarantee and used,
But….no one’s twisting the bidder’s arm here. I’m *not* blindly standing up for sellers, but I find it sort of humorous that anyone would willingly pay too much for an item and complain about it after the fact. Kris
