NEED LAWYER AGAINST EBAY

Question:

I’m not clear on exactly what happened here, but if eBay has screwed up to the tune of $500, then a letter from a lawyer to their legal department will probably be useful (and sufficient — a lawyer should be able to solve this without suing). Just getting the letter written shouldn’t cost too much.

I’m dubious as well, but the first place to start is not with a lawyer but your bank.  Demand to speak to the branch manager at the miminum.  That should get the ball rolling.

Response:

To bad you guys don’t have a Bank of America account, I am always right with them.  They get your money back immediately then investigate. But then I have an Advantage Account full of cash. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I’m not clear on exactly what happened here, but if eBay has screwed up to the tune of $500, then a letter from a lawyer to their legal department will probably be useful (and sufficient — a lawyer should be able to solve this without suing). I have no problem with SunTrust.

A lawyer , won’t usually charge to advise on an action. If you could , present your  civil case on the back of a criminal conviction, then a lawyer may well, take your case on a no win no fee. If your case is related to a criminal prosecution, then the lawyer might well be jumping around and licking his lips and only too happy to help. Prove that they have acted unlawfully, get the police to do that through the normal means, then rope your claim into the effect of the unlawful action on your person. If  you just want to sue them then I;m afraid that if you are not wealthy then you would be shit upon from a great height right from the first kick of the ball. max.it

You may want to try one of these type of services: http://81.9.8.40/cgi-bin/legal/index.cgi?52445 I will bet that if you have any validity (obviously we have no facts here & very little to judge with.  E-Bay is a reputable company & one would not expect fraud of them) to your claim a simple layers letter would go a long way.
