I wouldn’t worry about it. They probably already sent your item. Some sellers are like that… they don’t reply to e-mail, they just send your item. "You’re watching a stage play. A banquet is in progess. The guests are enjoying an appetizer of raw oysters. The entree consists of boiled dog."
Response:
Hi all I won an auction 6 days ago and paid as soon as it ended. I’ve sent numerous msg’s and emails to the person, regarding when the item will be sent, without reply. How much time do I give this person before one starts to get concerned about whether the item will be sent? Cheers John
Hopefully your package will show up this following week. In cases like yours where you havn’t received an email response, I would start nosing around to see if the seller had any open auctions. I would also check to see if the seller had written any feedback for others within the last 6 days. These are ways to find out if the seller is actually using his account and thus has access to a computer. Probably just on vacation….that time of year

Hi Kris, Yes I’ve tried via the Ebay system and normal email. Without receiving a response. The sellers feedback is 100% with over 60+ transactions (selling and buying) the person also leaves feedback for others, so they are considerate/diligent in that respect. I understand that people have busy lives but I don’t think asking when an item is going to be sent is to much to ask for. (USA to Australia) If they have gone on vacation then wouldn’t it have been advisable to let bidders know? cheers John – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hi all I won an auction 6 days ago and paid as soon as it ended. Sometimes that works when other things don’t. How much time do I give this person before one starts to get concerned about whether the item will be sent? Cheers John Hopefully, he sent it and maybe went on vacation? You didn’t say where the seller was, so it’s hard to guess how long it would take anything to get to you. Rather than the amount of time, I’d be more concerned if his feedback had recent negatives, if other buyers hadn’t yet left feedback, or if he’s been active on eBay (selling/buying) since you paid him. Some people aren’t your "new best email friend" and tend to business without any contact….although I can’t imagine ignoring a buyer’s emails. Kris
