With AOL 6.0, you can sort mail in different ways (date up/down, sender up/down, subject up/down). It’s actually quite useful. http://members.aol.com/kimmurphy/

it may, but I never used AOL so I can only imagine <G I’m sure AOL has a mail reader that’s fully capable of archiving and filtering thousands of messages, saving pre made templates and attachments all ready to shoot out at a moments notice… but I still couldn’t imagine using it. cya Jim

I never got one response to any of the 3-4 emails I sent to her. Personable is not a word I would describe Marie. (this is, of course, assuming she still uses the same system… if she figured out a way to actually give her bidders proper customer service, I wouldn’t know)
I figure if vrane went dead (like it did last weekend) and all her automated EOA messages stopped and she ignores her email as usual, it would real quick. I know in her opinion most of her frequently asked questions are either in the item description or EOA email so she does ignore most customer inquires, it costs her quite a few feedbacks and I don’t necessarily agree with that opinion but I only get 100 or so emails a day so I answer all of them.

It really staggers the mind how they can transact all this business through an AOL account … can you POP mail from AOL when connected somewhere else? Also, I hate to think how much space their feedback and other account-related info takes up on Ebay’s servers!

yes with a program called eNetBot Mail (and others) but she uses vrane for EOA mails. I’m not sure if she sends her regular mail from AOL. I thought the same thing when I saw her account, wild huh?

If you have an AOL ( as low as $5/month ) you can access AOL.com from any computer connected to the net. A very reliable mail fuction. I use a $5 AOL I only use the AOL for the mail and never actually connect to AOL network, only AOL.com website.

She doesn’t email you anything except EOL emails. She expects *you* to do all the calculations yourself, and send it in. She doesn’t do a damn thing, and certainly doesn’t do anything to deserve so many positives. I bought from her once, but never again. My cat gives better customer service.
see, I bought form her and the CDs showed up so I was happy. I’m used to paypaling cash to people as soon as auctions end though (the way I wish half of my customers were:) so I don’t think I ever bothered to read her end of auction notice. I’ve chatted with her regarding other eBay related things and she seemed personable enough if nothing else. I can imagine with her system things could go south quick, can you imagine trying to search an AOL inbox looking to track down a lost payment email? <shudder I would be lost without my mail readers filters and global search features.

Oh, sure, mine showed up, too. A little slow, but I got them. Had I not done any of the work for her, I would probably still be waiting. If you want shipping info, you do. I’ve chatted with her regarding other eBay related things and she seemed personable enough if nothing else.
