6 years selling and this is it?

Question:

Looks like it must be another auction with IE-specific HTML; in Mozilla I can only see about half of it at a time without scrolling horizontally. (I didn’t bother reading it; horizontal scrolling on web pages is a personal peeve of mine.)

no, it looks like that in IE too,  pure crap and too wide…

I don’t know what to say. Six years on ebay and this is the format ya come up with? A power seller to. This proves people bid without reading everything. I tried three time to read it. My brain shuts down after five or six lines each time. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2963205425

Underlining is self limiting, because compulsive underliners eventually grow smuch haor on the palms of their hands that they can no longer type. — Many thanks, Don Lancaster Synergetics   3860 West First Street  Box 809  Thatcher, AZ 85552 Please visit my GURU’s LAIR web site at http://www.tinaja.com

There are, however, a lot of pompous asses in this group, and most of ‘em

So true, it hurts.  I often don’t respond to a lot of the posts because I know that I will get just a reply that is just as pompous, and thus, accomplishes nothing.  I mainly stay for the comedic effect. Phil

With a 99.3% feedback after 1997 sales, I doubt this seller really cares what non-customers think. The auction contains lots of sensible advice, and he successfully sold. As Usual. He’s a Cool Dude. — Andrew

I’m real impressed by his feedback -2000 in 6 years. That’s averaging 1/day Meanwhile he’s listing a couple hundred auctions/month — mostly low value junk. Looks like a Pawn Shop operator (or a dumpster diver). Yes Andrew, your hero is a real eBay success story.

Its underlined because its one stonking great big hyperlink to Ebays "Power Seller" page. Although I must admit, it’s one god awful listing   :o / Strange how Ebay and myself define Power Sellers so differently   <g

Actually the reason I found this is because I am looking for a pair of these to replace another cheap pair I have. These sell for 43 bucks +shipping (total about 53) all over the web and I am willing to give 35 total for a pair on ebay. The reason I did not buy these is besides the fact it was hard to read< There is one line about the item and two pages of what a great guy he is. The winner got a great deal and will be happy with them. I will wait for the next one to come up from a seller I am comfortable with.

It seems *all* his/her auctions are like this too.  I cannot believe it, I truly thought I’d seen most everything until just now. Rusty

The dude wasn’t attacking the seller, or pouring scorn, as it were, he just said the thing was hard to read, if not impossible, because of the format. If you did it this way too, you’d be glad you saw in here not to do it that way. There are, however, a lot of pompous asses in this group, and most of ‘em (Link for instance) are buried down deep in my bottomless kill file. Rusty
