I hope that they are too. This appears to be a genuine mistake from a newbie. Surely one can be forgiven (once) for assuming that a newsgroup about EBay marketing would permit marketing of EBay items. That could actually work quite well. Sort of "Good cop, bad cop" thing. Having just received three identical Spam EMails from somebody I once bought something off on EBay I’m tempted to swap roles for a few minutes

If it’s a first offense, his ISP won’t do much more than send him a brief note.
