Question:
I have been doing searches (for a 256Mb Secure Digital card) but I am only interested in buying from a seller located in the UK. However, even though my advanced search includes "Items located in … United Kingdom", a number of the items it returns are from US-based sellers where they state that the items are located in the US and will be shipped from there. Examples are 2950586686 and 2950832233. 1) Is there any way that I can filter these out from my search? 2) Are they breaking any eBay rules? — Philip

I don’t know of a way to filter them, it appears to be a quirk in the way eBay performs the search. Since the buyer is in the US and has his location listed in the US, I can’t see what rule he’d be breaking. Listing in the UK site is an option on Turbo Lister, which is an eBay product that this seller used to list his auction, and apparently the search for items listed in the UK brings up all items listed on eBay.UK, where ever the item is really located.
