Simultaneous closing times for seller lots

Question:

I’m showing my lack of knowledge here, but – I’ve noticed that some sellers have multiple items for sale (sometimes up to a dozen or more) – and all the lots close at the exact same date and time.

In general, I’ve always felt that this is actually a BAD thing. If indeed a buyer is inclined to bid on more than one of your items to save on shipping or because they are similar items and desirable to him, there’s no time to snipe. Back when I was selling alot of Corel Photo CDs, I’ve had a buyer or two literally go down my list of closing auctions and bid on 10 or more just before they closed. So, yeah, Mister Lister, for example, let’s you post many auctions in one collection and will launch them, all closing within a second or two of each other. But even though it’s more work, when I have similar (but not identical) items, have felt it better to divy them up. — Mac (doogle)

Is there software that allows you to enter all your lots at the same time – thus making the closing time all the same? How is this done? Thanks.

I’ve just started using Mr. Lister, which is free software you can download from Ebay that allows you to upload multiple auctions to Ebay at one time. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I’m showing my lack of knowledge here, but – I’ve noticed that some sellers have multiple items for sale (sometimes up to a dozen or more) – and all the lots close at the exact same date and time. There are a few programs that will allow batch posting. I think even eBay has a feature for it. I use Auctiva, and they just upgraded with batch posting that’s supposed to be a snap — of course, when I tried it, I kept getting "illegal operation" errors and crashing. C’est la vie.
