Management programs?

Question:

I’ve been using Shooting Star for a month, and I have a problem or two with it, but I’m adapting. It uploads your pictures for you.  That saves -so- much time.  I use a lot of pictures, and doing the ftp upload was very time-consuming.

I’ll second that recommendation for Shooting Star. It’s excellent, and the only real problems I’ve had are the inevitable ones that occur briefly whenever eBay changes things… the support for SS is great, too. http://foodogsoftware.com/ Dave Pearman Heritage Cameras Limited http://www.heritagecameras.com

They have a free 30 day trial and you can get your money back for up to 60 days.  It’s the best.  I’ve used it for over a year.  Kevin is very responsive and helpful. — YMH   Laurie "The point at issue is not whether Maine and Texas may now talk to one another, but rather whether they have anything significant to say." Hi, I am new to selling online – I have just finished seven auctions and realized that managing them all took up much too much of my time! Since I want to build up to at least 50 auctions a week, what is the best auction management tools/programs to use – and, most of all, do any of them give you a Free 30 day trial that I can download online? I would like to try them before I buy! What do you recommend? Thanks, any help appreciated!

Sold! (formerly Auction Trakker) from Timbercreek is very good. I’ve been using it for a few years now and have been very satisfied with it. I tried out a few others but came back to this one. http://www.timbercreeksoftware.com/ Let thy steadfast love be ready to comfort me, according to thy promise to thy servant.  – Ps 119:76      http://www.rosary.org      http://www.lourdeslife.org

It’s a decent program, but the forum moderators are pretty thin skinned. Ignore any claims of free upgrades, you’ll be spending about $40 every 6-9 months for upgrades with them. After the initial disappointment of learning that their "free" upgrade offer had an enormous loophole, I’ll probably pay the money and stick with them because it is a HUGE time saver. If you go with it, make sure you have a solid backup routine for your database file (good advice for ~any~ system). Their error checking in the html scraping routines seems almost non-existent and even minor eBay changes can blow up your database or trash the program functionality. — Bill Shaw Email is munged with an obviously invalid domain. I’ve never used another program, so I don’t know if they all do that.
