Question:
It is okay as long as there is no shill bidding or shill feedbacking going on. If it is found that there is shilling, eBay immediately suspends all the accounts involved — no questions asked. Gordie

Reason is that I have just done a big clearance of IT kit and would like to sell the stuff from this company on solely on one Ebay ID while I continue to sell ‘my’ stuff on my other. Both have decent feedback ratings anyway (404 and 277) but I am wondering if would be OK to sel the same type of things (ie computers and computer equipment) on them both. — Best Regards Niel Humphreys Snowdon Computers

I sell four items simultaneously under 4 different eBay IDs. I use different approaches, different pricing and bundling schemes, and different descriptions under each ID. That lets me appeal to different markets, and also provides a way of testing auctions and formats. For example, under one ID I switched from single-item BIN selling of a certain widget to Fixed Price multiple sales. In both cases, I had 10 auctions up at one time for the item. I went from selling five to 10 of the item per day under that ID to five or so per week in the Fixed Price format. Exactly the same auctions otherwise. All the lost sales for that ID have been taken up by the other three IDs selling the same item.
