Question:
I want to change my shipping prefs to add Europe. I guess Europeans like Americans Army stuff, and I’ve been getting emails. Anyway, is there a way to globally change all my auctions?

No, but you might want to consider listing on the ebaYUK site, at least when they have bargain days, as long as you’re interested in continental sales. — Outgoing mail is certified bollocks

Before you do that, can i give you some advice? go and look at the UK customs and excise website at www.hmce.gov.uk, and remeber these rules apply to all EEC countries. As from march 1st 2004, every month until June1st 2005, the import duty on certain goods originating from the states is being increased by 1% per month. the existing rate is 17.5% and since march 1st its increased to 20.5% and will carry on rising until it gets to 33.5%. The reason for this is that the EEC are punishing the USA for not keeping to certain trade agreements.( the thoery being, it will put people off from buying USA originated goods) This means that your potential customers in europe are going to get a really nasty tax bill along with their goods

So why does that mean he should reconsider selling to them? It’s not his problem their local taxing authority is punishing them. — Outgoing mail is certified bollocks

Response:
What if you put ”GIFT” on the customs form?
Then customs can confiscate it when they find out it’s not. — Outgoing mail is certified bollocks

What if you put ”GIFT” on the customs form? I shipped an Army manual to Australia, and the buyer didn’t say anything bad about the transaction. I’ll See Ya at the Bunker! http://stores.ebay.com/REDLEGS-ARTILLERY-BUNKER
