Question:
Anyone else having problems relisting? I’m not sure what is wrong with netscape….I try to open it up and it keeps freezing and IE, i get to the auction listing and click relist but can’t get past the preview page before it says some type of error that the page cannot be displayed.

Ebay, in their boundless wisdom, now requires you to turn on cookies to relist an item. It plays hell with anybody that is doing sensible screening to avoid ads, viruii, and rubbish in general. Even if you dont do this, your web browser cache may prevent these pages from executing. At times, its cheaper to relist the thing as a totally new item, forgoing the 30 cent credit, at least if you feel your time is worth anything. And maybe thats what they had in mind.

FWIW, using IE 5.5 I have found that if you wait about 2 minutes before posting the relisting, I don’t get that error. If I don’t wait that long, I get the same error. -Al Allan Fox Fox Internet Auction Sales Consignments Trade Stimulators wanted (no cigarette reels, please)

In the past when I relisted something in IE browsers 1:20 would relist. So I just posted it as a new item. below (maybe 3 minutes) Now relisting on eBay works everytime…yes, everytime (lessons of life, Patience) — FWIW, using IE 5.5 I have found that if you wait about 2 minutes before posting the relisting, I don’t get that error.
